With the first launch being in European countries, the Realme X2 Pro is creating waves. It is already been making quite a buzz. even before it entered India. Thanks to the numerous social media leaks and the official European website, the hype is high. There have been quite some revelations about the prime specifications of the model device.

What is the buzz about?

The brand new Realme X2 Pro will carry on the trend of providing with a quad rear camera setup which originally started with the 5 Pro. With a superior 50 W VOOC charging, it boasts to be the fastest charging standard in the smartphone industry. Realme is also bringing in the 90 Hz Fluid Display and the gaming-chipped Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ SoC assuring alluring gaming experience. The 90Hz Display is already introduced long before the Realme X2 Pro with OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7T.

The Camera Specifications

Realme X2 Pro also offers to have better portrait and wide-angle shots, thanks to the 60-megapixel primary sensor and the second one having an impressive ultra wide-angle 155 degrees lens. Though phones like the Oppo Reno2 had the 20X hybrid zoom, Realme X2 Pro has upped the competition with a separate portrait lens.

The Other Important Specifications

There have been strong speculations about the display size and RAM capacity which Realme assures to announce on the official website by the mid of this month. Though the company came up with the 65 W VOOC charging tweet when the phone launched in the market. To this news. many netizens related it with the Oppo Reno Ace released recently. The company deleted the tweet later and rectified it with the 50 W VOOC charging.

When will it hit the market?

Unfortunately, the Indian customers will have to wait because Realme has not announced the release date for X2 Pro yet. Though China’s Product Director of China, Wang Wei Derek has hinted at a year-end release, if not earlier. It’s only been a month since Redmi unveiled the Realme X2. We can also expect to be on the shelves in India by December.

The Verdict

Against the likes of the other prominent models like the OnePlus 7 Pro and the Redmi K20 Pro, the Realme X2 Pro is new. But it stands as a formidable competitor. With the higher qualms about the gaming and video experience, the company would likely put a significant price tag.  A hefty price tag would be no surprise on the premium phone.
